Your media

In this conversion flow, the video or GIF you choose is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers. The converted WebP is created in your browser and downloaded at your request. We do not provide cloud conversion or an account-based media library in this tool.

Requests needed to run the site

Your browser requests the website files and static media-engine resources, including JavaScript and WebAssembly files, needed for conversion. Those requests are separate from uploading your selected media. Your browser or hosting provider may process ordinary connection data as part of delivering these files.

Optional Google Analytics

On our production website, Google Analytics 4 loads only after you allow analytics. It uses cookies to measure visits, traffic sources, device and browser information, and interactions such as media selection, conversion outcomes and download clicks. Google processes connection information as part of receiving these requests. Download clicks do not prove a file was saved, an app was installed or a sticker was imported into WhatsApp.

Our custom events send only the action name and, where relevant, whether the input is a video or GIF. We do not send selected media, filenames, sticker files or raw conversion error messages to Google Analytics. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in this integration.

You can reject analytics and still use the tool. We store your choice locally in your browser. Use Analytics settings in the footer to change your choice; withdrawing permission reloads the page to stop the loaded tag, so finish or cancel your conversion first. Your control

You choose which file to open and when to download the result. You can leave the page or clear the selection to stop using the media in the tool. Browser behavior and local device storage are controlled by your browser and device.
